This Sunday (5th June) I did a live session with my friends The Durbervilles on their BBC Radio Leeds Folk and Roots Show. I played three tracks from my soon to be released solo album “Poor Strange Girl”. The programme is available on the BBC iPlayer Listen Again service for the next 30 days.
I was a little dumbfounded to find out, later on, that my album had also been featured on several other Folk Radio Shows across the country.
If you’ve never heard of some of these music programme please do check them out. Here are the links:
The Drift presented by Phil Brown on BBC Radio Lancashire
Celtic Heartbeat presented by Frank Hennessy on BBC Radio Wales
Alternative Roots presented by Mike Davies on Radio Brum
NOVA FM Folk Show presented by Gary Hazlehurst
There will be a couple more reviews coming out in the next few days from Maverick Magazine and Songlines as well as a couple more radio interviews…
